Maya J.T. Dawson is a vocalist, spoken word artist, communicator and
creative strategist. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Spelman College (Atlanta, GA) where she tailored a curriculum in music business by double majoring in Music (Classical Voice Concentration) and Economics (Focus in Entrepreneurship). She has performed both nationally and internationally for a variety of audiences as a solo artist as well as with recording artists Destiny Praise, Destinations, and Babbie Mason. Maya has also worked extensively behind the scenes as a record label executive and event producer. Maya currently serves as the A&R Director for Trackstarz Music (Trackstarz.com) where she has helped two artists chart on both iTunes and Amazon. She also co-hosts the podcast “Becoming Eva” (BecomingEvaToday.com) with Latoya Moore. Maya and her husband Chris recently founded Creativaire, Inc. a company that specializes in producing original content and developing artists. They currently reside in Marietta, GA.
